More than a flower shop, 1873 is a place rooted in community, creativity, and a love for serving others. We’re grateful to be a small part of the moments that matter most to you.
Our Story
We’re Kaylea and Spencer Pryor, lifelong residents of Decatur and proud parents of two wonderful kids, Cambree (7) and Cannon (5). Our love for this town inspired us to create 1873 Market, a space where families can come together and enjoy the outdoors. Alongside 1873 Market, we also own Cutting Edge Lawn Care and are co-owners of 3C Services. We're passionate about serving our community and providing a place where everyone can relax, connect, and create lasting memories.

At 1873 Market, we wanted to design a vibrant community hub where you can bring your kids, meet with friends, and savor a variety of experiences. Whether you're grabbing a coffee from By the Grace of Coffee, picking up fresh flowers from our flower shop, getting refreshed at the salon or grabbing food from Barbanera Pizza, Bluex Bayou, Family Meal Eatery and El Sazon de la Abuelita, there’s something here for everyone.

From everyday arrangements and special celebrations to weddings and heartfelt sympathy flowers, each piece is thoughtfully designed with care and a personal touch. Her vision has always been to create more than just a flower shop—a place where the community feels welcome, can shop local, celebrate life’s special moments, and make lasting memories. Kaylea’s creativity, dedication, and love for people are at the heart of everything 1873 Market & Florist does.
